Conveniently located downtown, the Smith Street Senior Centre is one block from all major bus routes, the Centennial Library and Eaton's Place. Pick up a game of Snooker, Shuffleboard or Scrabble; join a Walking Group or Exercise Program geared towards varying levels of ability; or relax watching a classic movie, our exotic fish tank, or reading a large print book from the library. We specialize in meeting the needs of older adults - be it through an Alcohol, Caregivers' or Depression Support Group or a Handbells class with beautiful sounding instruments that do not require music reading skills. The Smith Street Senior Centre takes pride in its friendly and inviting atmosphere.... we welcome everyone to drop in free of charge to "our home away from home".
