Coordinator Services for Seniors
We are just starting a program at the high school to teach some of our seniors the internet with the students teaching it. Intergenerational program, also a wood working program (making hunting shack), and learning how to play pool.
Not only are we playing pool at the Club d age d or, they are also learning how to play shuffleboard. Coming up in April they will be knitting blankets for the daycare, and possibly learning how to braid ropes etc...Another fantastic event happening in our community is that between our seniors and students they will be constructing Garden Boxes. This will help promote physical activity and promote healthy eating habits especially when it is fresh from the garden.
March 30th we are planning a trip to the Brandon Fair for only $18.00. (includes your entry ticket to the fair and your handi-van ride) After we will be dining at a fine restaurant. Have your names in before March 23 to reserve a spot.
