GOALTo help senior & disabled persons to live independently in their own home/apt. as long as physically possible by providing support services.

Co-ordinator duties (at no charge)1. CO-ORDINATE services you may require 2. PROVIDE information 3. ACT as an advocate 4. ASSIST in accessing/ referrals to agencies 5. ASSIST with filling out forms
Services Provided (at reasonable rates) Housecleaning (weekly, monthly) Laundry Minor maintenance Snow removal Hairdressing (in your home) Transportation (to out town appointments)
Fees are paid directly to provider by user of service

E.R.I.K.E.R.I.K. is an Emergency Response Information Kit developed by a community Advisory Council, established in response to community concerns regarding the availability of adequate information in emergency situations.

Victoria Life Line Emergency Response UnitsAvailable through HAND program. These units provide around the clock protection and a sense of security in an emergency situation. Can be used by elderly, people who have restricted mobility, or the chronically ill. There is a programming fee and a monthly rental. Please contact 476-2009 for further information.
