SSBC is an non- profit organization.
Goal is to help senior and the disabled persons to live independently in their own homes as long as physically possible by providing support services.
Co-ordinator Duties ( at no charge) 1. Co-ordinate services you may require.
2. Provide information .
3. Act as an advocate.
4. Assist in accessing/referrals to agencies.
5. Assist with filling out forms.
Services Provided (at reasonable rates) - Housekeeping (weekly, monthly)
- Laundry
- Minor maintenance
- Yardwork
- Transportation
Fees are paid directly to the provider by the user of the service.
ERIKis an Emergency Response Information Kit developed by a community Advisory Council, established in response to community concerns regarding the availability of adequate information in emergency situations. All area emergency groups have endorsed this program. Once completed, the kit provides the necessary information for emergency personnel to respond quickly to your situation. 
Meal Program the first Wednesday of the month except July, August and September. Excellent home cooked meal for $9.00 including meat/potatoes/vegetables/tea or coffee/ juice and dessert. Every meal has an educational speaker or entertainment. Supper starts at 5pm at the Binscarth Drop In Centre 47 Russell St. Binscarth MB.
