Service to Seniors
Service To Seniors is an integral and important function of our Leisure Centre offering the following services to our local seniors:

• Mail pick up and delivery

• Grocery shopping

• Friendly visits

• Foot care

• Letter writing

• Home checks

• House cleaning

• Transportation

• Consultation and advice

• Coordinated activities

• Lawn care and snow removal

If you have a need, phone and ask!

Help is only a push button away giving seniors the confidence to live independently.


Meals Program
The Foxwarren Leisure Centre offers to all seniors and guests a full “home cooked” all you can eat dinner - six days a week, Monday to Saturday.

Please phone one day in advance and if you have any special requirements, talk to Cathy. The main entrιe changes daily, and includes all extras such as tea or coffee, dessert, etc.

Cost per person: $4.00

For those seniors who are unable to come to the centre for dinner, phone ahead and it can be delivered as part of our Meals On Wheels Program.
For groups please book 7 - 10 days in advance to give Cathy adequate preparation time.

If you are a senior - busy, with little time to make dinner, phone the Leisure Centre.

Foxwarren Senior Centre Owned and Operated by Foxwarren Seniors
Supported by many volunteers of all ages working for a common goal of maintaining a traditional lifestyle in a small rural community for the betterment of the community and it’s seniors.

The Leisure Centre has many facilities and services available to all community members.

    • Open 6 days a week 9:00am to 5:00pm

    • Morning and afternoon coffee

    • 6 day a week Meals Program

    • Photocopier, fax machine

    • Well furnished board room

    • Owns & operates a van for member use

    • Community Access Computer Station

    • 2 pool tables, 3 shuffleboards

    • Floor shuffleboard, carpet bowl

    • Miniature golf, horse shoe pits

    • Card tables,

    • Public library, book & DVD’s

Membership
Membership is open to all community residents with only voting privileges restricted to seniors 55 plus.

All residents of the community are encouraged to join and enjoy the programs and facilities! Under 55 very welcome.

Membership Fee: $10.00


Facilities
  • Home for the Foxwarren Branch – Parkland Regional Library. Open Tuesday and Wednesday.

  • Games room with 3 shuffleboards, carpet bowl, floor shuffleboard, and curling.

  • Play a round of miniature golf on our 9 hole course.

  • 2 regulation sized pool tables


BINGO
The Foxwarren Leisure Centre has been successfully operating a weekly Bingo for more than 20 consecutive years, making it one of the longest continually run Bingos in the province. It has been the main source of revenue for the Leisure Centre and has contributed over $50,000 to other community projects.

FOXWARREN 200 miles west of Winnipeg on Hwy 16
If you are traveling the Yellowhead (Hwy 16), stop in for a visit. Foxwarren is right on the highway.

The Foxwarren Leisure Centre is open six days a week with hot coffee and muffins. All ages welcome.

Visit the beautiful Foxwarren Memory Gardens just across the street from the Leisure Centre.

Visit our museum in a historical Anglican Church after you drop your kids off at our well maintained playground.

Camping: Our campground is just a few hundred feet off highway 16, well treed and grassed with electrical hook-up. Just drive in and set up. We only ask for a donation.
