S.S.A.R is a non-profit organization directed by a local board. Funding is provided by the Province of Manitoba and local municipal councils, service groups and donations.

Program Mandate: To enable seniors and disabled persons to  continue living independently within their communities as long  as possible. We do so through the use of volunteers and service  providers.


Volunteers and fee-for-service providers can offer:

  • visiting
  • footcare
  • Congregate meals
  • blood pressure checks
  • recreation
  • information
  • Lifeline emergency response.
  • AND MUCH MORE.

A program of Senior Services of Antler River providing seniors with a nutritious, well-balanced noon meal Provides an opportunity for Socializing in a home-like atmosphere.

HELP IS JUST A PUSH BUTTON AWAY!
With the Lifeline service you can rest assured that you’ll always get help. Your small lightweight button, worn as a pendant or on your wrist puts you in contact with trained, caring Lifeline staff who know your circumstances.

Lifeline provides the confidence you need to live independently!
