Handivan A Huge Hit The new Handivan in the community of Gladstone has been a bit hit with the residents. Coordinator of Gladstone Senior Services Val Emerson says they've been making good use of the van, going to and from appointments. Emerson says having the handivan in Gladstone benefits other communities when out on day trips, because they're visiting local businesses. She points to day trips in Holland and Clear Lake, and another planned to Carman this month. She thanks the Portage Plains United Way again for choosing to fund the handivan for Gladstone.
