Answer
Yes, in consultation with Community Connections.
How are Access Sites dealing with insurance on their computer equipment?
Answer:
Under the Community Connections Conditional Contribution Agreement signed by Acess Sites and Manitoba, Section 7 requires that Access Sites purchase and maintain insurance to cover the use and operation of the site as well as, all risk, full replacement cost insurance for equipment. Each access site should check with their insurer to ensure that they are in compliance with this requirement.
What if I need technical support in a rural area?
Answer:
Contact the Help Desk at 1-866-445-2555 and make the request, specifically if it is technical in nature, basic setup, etc). The message will then be forwarded to the rural team and one of them will be in contact with you directly.
Access sites must have their file id (from community connections: E-009, C-002 etc) at hand to receive service.
Currently there are no CAP youth in Manitoba, so unfortunately on-site service is not available.
Can we get a letter addressed to banks advising that a cheque has been approved and is forthcoming for our Access Site?
Answer
Access sites whose cheques have been requisitioned can request a letter addressed to banks advising that a cheque has been approved and is forthcoming. They can make this request by calling the Community Connections Office, 945-8527 or Toll Free 866-896-0938.
